PATTARA Family

George Varghese (Georgekutty) 6th generation 1955-2006. Georgekutty was the youngest among the four chliden of Vakkachan/ Eliamma couple of Puthenpurakkal. Born on 25th March 1955, Georgekutty lost his father when he was one year old. So he received special care and attention from his mother and siblings. As a young boy he was very smart and good at studies. Against the usual practice in those days he studied in English medium school at Alappuzha and subsequently completed his graduation from St.Thomas college Pala. After graduation Georgekutty took charge of the families financing business St.Mary's Bank at his own premises at Muhamma Junction. Later opened a own jewelry shop. The business turned out very sucssful. Georgekutty sponsered a Public Library & Reading room in memory of his father at Muhamma. Georgekutty married Reethamma daughter of Mr.Antony Paul & Mrs Alikkutty of Vadakumchery family, North Paroor. The marriage was on 23rd May 1982. As the youngest he settled at Puthenpurakkal tharavad. The couple has three children. Aurn, Antony, and Aswsthi. Later Georgekutty suffered from serious health problems and was confined to home. Georgekutty passed away peacefully at the age of 50 on 10th January 2006. and was buried in family kallara at St.George Church cemetery, Muhamma.
