PATTARA Family

Sri Chandy Chandy ( 1758-1815 ) founder of the family reached Muhamma along with his wife Maria from Thathampally, Alappuzha during Seventeen Eighties and Settled at Pattara tharavad (Present). His three brothers also accompanied him and settled at different locations of Muhamma. Chandy Kuriakose at Mattom, Chandy Philip at Vallonthara and Chandy Ouseph at Puthenpurakkal. Chandy did copra business & agriculture.He had two sons. Chandy's elder son Chandy chose to be a priest and was known by name Fr. Alexander and his second son Chacko continued the family business & agriclture. Chandy expired in the year 1815.
