Chandy Chandy (1888-1954) (4th Generation). Chandy, affectionately called Chandichan born on 16.3.1888 was the 5th male child to Vavachan and Thresia. He had his education in local schools. Chandichan married Maria, daughter of Ousepachan and Rose of Mali family Edathuva on 16.02.1911. The couple had four sons, Ousepachan, Mammachan, Kurialachan & Vakkacha and three daughters, Kuttamma, Rosakutty & Thankamma. Chandichan Purchased Puthenpurakkal purayidom and house and settled his family. Chandi had a Provision ( Palacharakku ) business at Muhamma. Later Chandy and children turned to copra and oil business at Chenganda and subequently the business was Shifted to Cherthala. Chandy expired at the age sixty six, on 08.12.1954.
